This App maintains an Inventory of valuable items, stores a photo of an item and information about the item.

Home Inventory Photos (HIP) maintains a home inventory of valuable items stored in the apps local home document directory on the device it is installed on.  The user can take a photo of the item, a photo of the receipt, and enter the following information about the item: name, description, serial number, purchase price, date of purchase, and current location of item.

The first time HIP is run there is a welcome screen displayed to give basic info about the app. From the welcome screen an item can be added by clicking on the + at the top of the screen on the right side of the navigation bar, or clicking on the text button below.  Additional features can be purchased by clicking on the Shop button at the top of the screen on the left side of the navigation bar.

An Item’s info, photo, and receipt photo can be emailed if the email feature has been purchased.

The initial app allows for 5 items to be stored. To store more items  an unlimited (depending on storage memory) feature can be purchased.

This app does receipt validation, so the app store will request your apple id and password when it is needed to purchase additional features, restore purchased items, and on a reinstall of deleted app.

The intended use of this app is to provide proof of purchase on an insurance claim due to theft or disaster. Homeowners and renters alike would have instant documentation for their valuable items.
